Encouragers Today's devotion is based on Romans 151-2, "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." These verses teach us to be patient with the weaker ones and not to seek our own pleasures. As believers, we can help those in need with the love of Christ. Even if we don't have the means to help financially or physically, we can still encourage them. We can speak kindly of them when others are speaking negatively and show them the love of Christ by praying with them. Let us all strive to be encouragers today and every day. Let us now pray together: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today asking for your help in being a source of encouragement to those in need. Help us to show them your love through our words and actions, and let them feel your presence in their lives. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
