Freedom from eternal punishment
Today's devotion is based on Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." 
Today's devotion reminds us of the freedom we have been given from the condemnation of sin through Christ. God has opened the prison of sin for us through Jesus. It's a no-brainer to put our trust in Him and be free of the condemnation of sin.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, thank you for freeing us from the prison of sin. Please help us to trust and follow you toward eternal salvation. All glory and honor are given to you. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
