Today’s devotion is based on Psalm 91, verse 11-12, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands, they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.” In yesterday’s daily devotion, we saw that God sends his angels to minister to people and to serve them. Yes, even today! They will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ That doesn’t mean we won’t ever be hurt. It does mean that the Lord knows our smallest need, as well as our most significant need. In any situation of danger, trouble, or need, we can ask the Lord to send his angels to help us. We are blessed when God sends his angels to help us. Please pray with me the prayer for today: Heavenly Father, creator, and sustainer of all things, seen and unseen, thank you for sending your holy angels to watch over us just as you sent your angels to help Jesus in his time of need. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
