God's Will

Today’s devotion for today is based on Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing. and perfect will.”
How does a person do what God’s Word says so that they will live as God desires? While it is hard for us to live as God wants, God has given us His Word to guide us. We have his visible church were we are taught God’s Word through worship, Bible studies, both group and personal lessons.  We have those things, but the most important thing we have is the Holy Spirit, who transforms our hearts and minds to know the will of God for our life. 
Please pray the prayer for today with me: Heavenly Father, creator, and sustainer of all things, seen and unseen, you called me to be your child. Keep me from sin, and teach me to know and do what is pleasing to you so that my life will be a reflection of your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray
