Today’s devotion is based on Romans 8:31–32: "What, then, shall we say in response to these things?" If God is for us, who can be against us? "He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
How is it that we trust God for the most important thing in life—our salvation—but have problems trusting him to provide for us when difficulties arrive in our lives?
In what one area of life do you find it hardest to trust God? Talk to him about it this morning, trusting him to do what he has promised.
Please pray with me: Heavenly Father, you have promised in your Word that you will graciously give us all things. Help me to recognize your gracious gifts, even when they are not what I want you to give me. Forgive me, for the sake of Jesus, when I doubt your promises. Help me in my unbelief.
