Today’s devotion is based on Revelation 21:5-7. “Then the one who sits on the throne said, ‘And now I make all things new!’ He also said to me, ‘Write this, because these words are true and can be trusted’. And he said, ‘It is done! I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end. To anyone who is thirsty, I will give the right to drink from the spring of the water of life without paying for it. Those who win the victory will receive this from me: I will be their God, and they will be my children.” The devil has left the world in ruins. People’s lives are shattered. There is terrible suffering, and people are starving. God is taking action to make everything in the world new again. Jesus comes to repair the damage, provide for people’s needs, and bring security and stability to those who accept him as their Savior. He comes to rebuild ruined lives. He comes to repair the damage in your life too. He comes to make everything new again. He brings you new life and new hope. Come, let us worship the Lord this morning. Please pray with me the prayer for today: Heavenly Father, thank you for my Savior, for in his death, he made be whole in your eyes. Help me always to stay close to you so that on Judgment Day, I will be accepted by you. Amen.
