Today’s devotion is based on Matthew 10:18-20, “You will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and the Gentiles. When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
With those words Jesus assures us that when we face intimidation in sharing our faith, we need not worry about what to say or how to say it. The Holy Spirit, God's presence within us, will speak through us, guiding our words and actions. We may not be in the same circumstances as the disciples, but our fear of rejection or disbelief can hinder us.
Please pray with me: Heavenly Father, grant me unwavering trust in the Spirit's guidance. Strengthen me to fearlessly represent Your Word, regardless of the challenges I face. Fill me with courage to speak truth, love, and grace to a world desperately in need of You. Amen.
