There is only one way to find true rest

I find comfort in the words from today's devotion based on Psalm 62:1,2. "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress; I will never be shaken."

These verses remind me that my soul and body can find rest in God and that my salvation comes from Him. Sometimes the world's challenges can make me feel shaken and worried, but with God as my fortress, I know I will never be shaken. It's reassuring to know that everything in this world is under God's control and that I can trust in His loving care. 

I pray to God that I can continue to trust God's love and care, no matter what happens today or tomorrow. Amen.
